We are delighted to be supplying such quality box hardware as the Sliding Button Catch. When a jewelry box lock and key are not suitable for your box, then box catches are a great alternative. We currently offer the left-hand and right-hand button catch. Similar to the catches found on a brief case, the box is opened by moving or sliding the button to the left or right and then lifting the lid. The box is closed again by placing the lid back down and pushing it to close.
Technical Details
This handy piece of box hardware – the sliding button catch – is suitable for a minimum box wall thickness of 10mm. It currently comes in a nickel finish and brass finish. The sliding button catch is ideal to use with our Neat Box Hinges. So use either the large box hinge version or medium box hinge version, depending on your box size. Complementary Hardware
The sliding button catch is ideal to use with our Neat Jewelry Box Hinges – either the large or medium version depending on your box size. There may be instances when you will need two sliding button catches for your box. Such boxes may include long flute cases or other wide bespoke boxes.
