Precision Button Catch (Nickel)

We are delighted to be supplying such quality box hardware as the Precision Button Catch (Nickel Finish).  It is quite simply the best spring box catch on the box hardware market. (New 3rd generation version). When a jewelry box lock and key are not suitable for your box, then box catches are a great alternative. Once the button is pressed on this impressive button catch, the lid pops open by about 5mm. What we also like is that the catch has a nice satisfying closure mechanism.

Technical Details

This handy piece of box hardware – the precision button catch (nickel finish) – is suitable for a box wall thickness between 12mm-15mm. The overall diameter including collar is 20mm (2cm) and the button diameter itself is approx 15mm (1.5cm).  The button catch requires time at setup but is well worth it. The precision button catch is ideal to use with our Neat Jewelry Box Hinges – either the large version or medium version depending on your box size.  There may be instances when you will need two precision catches for your box.  Such boxes may include long flute cases or other wide bespoke boxes.
