Our lock hardware includes this jewelry box lock Mid-Budget Gold finish, for anyone keeping costs to a minimum. Available in gold finish and nickel finish, it suits medium sized boxes and is often used for humidors. Lock finishes are now gold and nickel.
Technical Details
Our jewelry box lock Mid-Budget Gold comes with top and bottom strike plates, a metal circular escutcheon, a set of screws and one lovely matching key. The distance to pin is approx 18mm. Please note If you need the screws to sit completely flush our suggestion would be to countersink the holes on both plates slightly deeper and this will work effectively. Dimensions (approx)
Lock Body – 45mm wide x 6mm thick. Length to Pin – 18mm. Top and Bottom Strike Plates – 65mm long x 10mm width. The single Key is approx overall length 31mm (with shaft 15mm). Circle escutcheon at widest point is 20mm. Each lock comes with one set of screws only.

Hardware seems to be very good quality so far and they were delivered slightly quicker than expected which is always a bonus. Had a few questions re fitting the products which FBH answered swiftly and helpfully. My only recommendation is maybe some more illustrative images on the shop website to help demonstrate how the items are to be fitted – it was my first time fitting a lock so needed all the help I could get!!

Ce genre de serrure n’est pas si facile à trouver dans cette gamme de prix, la qualité n’est en général pas bonne ( d’ailleurs introuvable en France ! ).
Celles-ci ont un très bon rapport qualité / prix, la livraison est rapide… Je suis content d’avoir trouvé ce site, il peut me servir pour mon activité de menuiserie.
Se qui est dommage c’est que j’aurai ajouté plus d’articles à mon achat si les frais de port étaient moins élevés.
English translation: This kind of lock is not so easy to find in this price range, the quality is generally not good (moreover not found in France!).
These have a very good quality / price ratio, the delivery is fast… I am happy to have found this site, it can be useful for my carpentry activity.
What is unfortunate is that I would have added more items to my purchase if the shipping costs were lower.
