The LARGE Neat Elite jewelry box hinge (pair) is the only large STAINLESS STEEL side rail hinge with a fully round knuckle and hidden stop system. It has far superior strength to any plated jewelry box hinges.  So don’t take the risk of plating flaking at the knuckles and instead use our solid box hinges for your special box.  Our large Neat Elite LARGE Box Hinges are precision made by ourselves in our workshops in Northern Ireland from solid stainless steel and have a fully balanced built in stop which locates at 92 degrees.

Technical Details

The jewelry box hinges – large – are ideal for the bigger box with a heavy lid.  These large box hinges are robust, attractive, easy to fit and polished to a mirror finish.  They are ideal for large boxes and chests with a minimum wall thickness of 15mm.  Dimensions of each robust hinge is 9.53mm +/- 0.01mm – wide x 60mm to centre of pin.  Leaf thickness is 4.3mm +/- 0.03mm. They have a mirror polished finish and come in pairs with 2 sets of woodscrews.

Our LARGE Neat Elite Hinges now have built-in lubrication points.  This is an innovative design and no other hinge design has this as a feature.  It is mainly only needed on stainless steel but works successfully with brass as well.  When tolerances are extremely tight and two metal surfaces meet on a friction fit, they can grab and seize.  The new lubrication feature eliminates this.
