The Neat Elite box hinge is the best jewelry box hinge on the market and is the only hinge (pair) with a fully round knuckle top and bottom.  Designed and Manufactured by us in the UK, this stainless steel side rail box hinge has been modified for use on boxes requiring 180 degree opening angles (although the hinge does go over 180 degrees slightly). Such boxes include backgammon boards, instrument cases, writing slopes and any other box requiring a 180 degree opening. Basic Technical Details and Reviews

Our Neat Elite jewelry box hinges are ideal for boxes with a minimum wall thickness of 12mm.  Each hinge is 8mm wide x 43mm long with an opening degree of  just over 180 degrees. Leaf thickness is 3.3mm.  The hinges have a mirror polished finish, and are supplied with 2 sets of woodscrews.  See and download/print box hinge instructions here. Our Neat Elite Hinges now have built-in lubrication points.  This is an innovative design and no other hinge has this as a feature.  It is mainly only needed on stainless steel but works successfully with brass as well.  When tolerances are extremely tight and two metal surfaces meet on a friction fit, they can grab and seize.  The new lubrication feature eliminates this.
