PayPal and Stripe accepted as methods of payment online. Contact us by email – firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange invoice for payment by cheque or bank transfer – orders will not be posted until full payment has cleared. All transactions are in pounds sterling.
Orders will be dispatched the following day unless ordered on a Friday in which case it will be dispatched on the Monday.

Northern Ireland Protocol – Means NO Extra Charges
We remain as part of the United Kingdom as well as part of the EU, therefore we continue to pay VAT and charge VAT. The benefit is that all our customer transactions remain exactly the same. There are NO EXTRA CHARGES at CUSTOMS FOR UK or EU CUSTOMERS. (Please note customers in the rest of the world should still expect to pay customs charges, just as before). Please DO NOT pay any customs charges if you are part of the EU – just explain that we are based in Northern Ireland and provide our VAT numbers – GB234649201 and XI234649201000 – you have already paid VAT and they should be able to verify this.
We have expanded our postal services and now offer the option of Special Next Day (SND) delivery within the United Kingdom (UK) and Express Courier (DHL) for EU and Rest of the World. These new options are more expensive, however when speed of delivery is essential we recommend using them. Please note your total payment, including the additional cost, must be received by us on or before 12 noon in order to use the SND service for the following day. You can choose the SND option and Express Courier at checkout. – (not available for Saturday or Sunday Deliveries).
We use Royal Mail as our main recorded and insured postal service for the UK and outside the UK. When the option is available, we include Tracking and Signature on Delivery and will send tracking details to you once your package is posted. This is not always an option for countries further afield such as South Africa where we can offer International Signed but no tracking. Whatever postal method you choose, rest assured that we will provide you with tracking details. Please contact us if you need further details – email@example.com
All prices quoted are ex VAT. The only possible additional charge above the price quoted for the item is a delivery charge – Standard Signed for Delivery or Special Next Day Delivery Monday-Friday. Deliveries abroad are posted via Royal Mail or DHL Courier (see above for more details). EU Companies that are VAT Registered should add their VAT details at checkout to ensure they are not charged VAT. If there any issues please contact us directly with your VAT number.
The VAT element of each purchase is clearly detailed on the Fine Box Hardware Limited Invoice.
Returns and Refunds
Items not required
If you wish to return your order you must notify us within 5 working days by email stating the reason for the return. All items must be returned unused, with no marks, and in the same packaging they were received in. Once we have received your returns and are satisfied with the returned item/s we will contact you to organise a refund. Please note there is a small administration fee for returns of £10. Returns should be posted by the same method you received them eg signed for or special next day or international tracked and signed. Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied and Damaged Items
If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange with you for collection. Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs.
Contract Information & Governing Law
Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email from Fine Box Hardware Limited acknowledging that your order has been received. This does not mean that your order has been accepted, it constitutes an offer to buy a product from Fine Box Hardware Limited.
Fine Box Hardware are entitled to refuse any order made by you for any reason.
For the avoidance of doubt the Contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you and Fine Box Hardware Limited will agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
